Valencia City Transport Alternatives

Valencia is a sustainable destination thanks to its excellent public transportation network, connecting all neighborhoods and tourist attractions of interest. While the city’s size allows you to reach almost any point on foot or by bike, for longer distances, we recommend using the metro, tram, or bus. If you want to move comfortably, affordably, and reduce emissions, the city offers 60 bus lines, 5 metro lines, and 4 tram lines, in addition to 180 metropolitan bus routes and 6 suburban trains for seamless travel. There are connections to the airport, downtown, trendy neighborhoods, the beach, l’Albufera, villages, or any other point of interest. The entire city is interconnected!

Please remember that bus transfers within the conference venues will be provided by the organization, included as part of the conference. Transportation from attendees’ hotels/accommodations to the conference venue and back at the end of each day will be managed individually. We recommend following the guidelines outlined in this section.

From the IAME 2024 conference organization, we recommend using the Cabify app, as it is carbon-neutral. It is the first app in Europe and Latin America to offset 100% of their emissions through local initiatives in the countries where they operate.
